  1. The Chow Kit – Ormond Hotel

The Chow Kit is a new hotel brand under the Ormond Group which opened on 2019, just before all this pandemic thing came about. The Chow Kit and sister hotel Momo’s Kuala Lumpur is located in the same building as the former Tune hotel Kuala Lumpur, but extensively refurbished. The Chow Kit district is an area rich with history and personality, and the hotel pays homage to that by embodying an old-world glamour design, with hints of film noir and styles of the 60s to 70s weaved throughout the timeless, welcoming space.Rooms are small, mirroring the working-class history of its walls. Clever design, however, makes efficient use of space enabling a feeling of luxury without the need for overindulgence.
